So, my friends and I were planning to go trekking and were exploring different treks on the internet when we came across the Karol Tibba Trek. We decided to visit there the very next day. On Sunday morning, at around 6 AM, we left Chandigarh for the trek in our own car after having breakfast on the way. We reached Chambaghat at around 9 AM, parked our car there, and started our trek. The trek begins at a Gurudwara in Chambaghat. When you reach Chambaghat, ask the locals for the starting point of the Karol Tibba Trek.

The initial part of the trail was indeed very steep, and we started doubting if we would be able to continue. However, after some time, the trail became more manageable. After trekking for about 1-2 hours, we reached a point where the trail split into two paths. It is crucial to choose the right one, as it would lead to the Pandavas cave and eventually to the Karol Tibba peak. Unfortunately, we made a mistake and accidentally chose the left path, which led us astray and caused us to get lost. Thankfully, a kind local who was also heading towards the peak on that trail came across us and graciously assisted us in finding our way back on track.

At around 1 PM, we finally reached the top of the Karol Tibba trek. The view from the summit was absolutely mesmerizing, captivating our senses. Standing there, we were greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings. Additionally, we discovered a small temple dedicated to Karol Devi situated at the peak. The tranquil atmosphere and the spiritual presence added a sense of serenity to the overall experience.

After spending around 30-45 minutes soaking in the mesmerizing view from the peak, we reluctantly started our descent back. On our way down, we made a stop at the Pandavas caves and the temple. It was a fascinating experience to explore the historical and cultural significance of these sites. We took some rest there, allowing ourselves to rejuvenate before continuing our descent back down the trail.

On our way back, we took the route that led you to the Pandavas cave. After spending around 30 minutes there, we continued our descent. It’s important to emphasize that when descending from the Pandavas cave, there are multiple trails, and it’s crucial to take instructions from the priest or locals there to ensure you stay on the right path. However, in our case, we didn’t take the instructions properly and ended up getting lost. To find the correct route, we had to retrace our steps and return to the Pandavas cave to seek guidance once again. It’s always essential to pay close attention to directions and clarify any doubts to avoid getting off track during the descent.

Finally, at around 6 PM, we reached the starting point of the trek, marking the completion of our adventurous journey. With a sense of accomplishment, we bid farewell to the beautiful surroundings and began our return journey to Chandigarh. As we drove back, we couldn’t help but reflect on the memorable experiences and breathtaking views we had encountered during the Karol Tibba trek. The enchanting memories of the trek lingered in our minds, reminding us of the beauty of nature and the joy of exploring new trails.
